Inventory for backpacking & basecamping

Summer & Winter season

Introduction

Backpacking consists of leads & escorts.

A lead is someone comfortable backabing alone & having expertise in certain fields that allows them to survive through harsh weather, dehydration & food shortage. Leads are very knowledgeable & have the right kind of essential equipment needed to basecamp.

An escort is someone who’s relatively new to backpacking & basecamping & has little knowledge & experience out in the field + having limited equipment.  An escort should always stick with a lead until they’re confident on their own with the right kind of equipment.

At the staging area, the team of backpackers must travel together & work together on the trail all the way to the camp. Once at the camp, everyone must set-up sleeping quarters, stock up firewood under a tarp & get a fire going or at least ready to start depending on the temperature & weather.
